Atka Halibut Fishery 

APICDA helps facilitate a walk-on opportunity for resident fishermen that helps them fully harvest their individual quota shares and generate income from their halibut fishery. Currently, this program provides important fisheries access for our local fishermen in Atka by partnering with an area 4B harvester and helping to find a market for their halibut, while largely diminishing traditional lease fees which increases earnings for our local fishermen.
