College Scholarship

At APICDA, we recognize the interconnectedness of students, families and communities within the Aleutian/Pribilof region. We believe that expanding access to education and training offerings beyond CDQ member communities will help increase opportunities for networking, collaboration and information sharing, and in turn will help grow and strengthen the regional economy.

2024-2025 Scholarship Amount: $2,000*

*10 scholarships are available for the school year

Scholarship Requirements:

  • Be a full-time, permanent resident of an APICDA CDQ member community; Akutan, Atka, False Pass, Nelson Lagoon, Nikolski, St. George, or one of the following non-CDQ Aleutian Pribilof communities: Adak, Cold Bay, King Cove, Sand Point, or Unalaska
  • Be enrolled as a FULL-TIME undergraduate student at an accredited college or university
  • Show intent to return to your community or the region indefinitely after completion of degree program
  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Submit a complete application packet with all the required documents by the deadline below
